Leigh Ann Dillon of Hilltop Marketing was recently awarded a grant through the Women’s Fund of Herkimer and Oneida Counties. The Women’s Fund, a volunteer driven agency committed to creating a movement to change the lives of women and girls in our area, organized the program to celebrate their 25th Anniversary and to support women in our community. They awarded five $5,000 grants to five local women-owned businesses, and Leigh Ann Dillon of Hilltop was chosen as one of the recipients.
“Hilltop Marketing has grown from 2 clients to 42 clients in just a few years. And this grant will help me accommodate that growth by funding training that teaches businesses like mine how to scale from freelance to full service agency” said Leigh Ann Dillon, Founder of Hilltop Marketing. “I’m excited to see how this opportunity impacts my business and takes it to the next level.”
In addition to funding training to learn how to properly scale her business, Leigh Ann intends to use the grant towards equipment.
Other recipients of the grant were
- Alisha Gaines-Porter of A-List Salon and Beauty Bar
- Janel Hearn of New Beginnings Academy
- Maria Macrina of The Cremeria
- Catherine Dare of TRM Environmental
For over 25 years, The Women’s Fund has created economic, educational, and personal growth opportunities for women. Leigh Ann is thrilled to be impacted by these opportunities and is thankful that Hilltop Marketing is being recognized as a business that plays a role in growing our region’s economy, and worth investing in.
